Certificate of Inspection (CoI) for Egypt

The Ministry of Trade and Industry in Egypt issued a series of ministerial decrees in 2015 and 2016, introducing significant changes to import clearance procedures. In particular, factories, manufacturers, or trademark owners of regulated products must now register with GOEIC to continue exporting to Egypt.

How Do I Get a CoI for Egypt?

Assessment of Conformity

  • Documentary Review: Verification of all submitted documentation.
  • Control Testing: Conducted if necessary to confirm product compliance.
  • Physical Inspection: Where required, to further validate conformity.
  • Conclusion of the Assessment: Upon successful evaluation, the Certificate of Inspection will be issued.
