Applus+ quality mark for Physical Security Systems

Physical security systems are products whose purpose is to protect the assets stored inside them and to prevent unauthorized people from gaining access to them.

The efficiency of these products is categorized by safety ratings according to the difficulty an outsider would have trying to reach their interior. Based on their use, Ministerial Order INT/317/2011 on private safety measures establishes the requirements and safety ratings the products must achieve.

Our solution

Applus+ is a control agency accredited by ENAC based on standard UNE-EN 45011 to issue certificates for safes and has accredited laboratories to perform the required safety classification tests.

Applus+ has developed a specific certification system (SCS) which sets the rules for product certification and defines the production control criteria to ensure quality is maintained over time.

The Applus+ physical security systems certification includes:

• Technical study of physical security systems
• Evaluation of the weak points
• Classification tests (to get the appropriate safety rating)
• Initial factory production control audit
• Evaluation committee to grant the Applus+ certification

UNE 108115: Safety compartments
