    The new laboratory in Shanghai expands our existing capabilities in Dresden (Germany) to test the materials used in implants and prostheses. 

    For more than 20 years, our materials laboratory in Dresden has been a benchmark in the field of materials testing for medical devices, like joint implants, dental implants or surgical instruments, working with clients all over the world.

    In 2022, we have expanded our capabilities, investing in a new advanced laboratory in Shanghai that is now offering the same high-quality services and technical support to our Asia Pacific clients. 

    Our global offering for medical devices includes:

    • Fatigue testing
    • Corrosion testing
    • Contact area/stress test (surface pressure)
    • Simulation and strength assessment
    • Artificial aging
    • Mechanical and physical tests on PE (crystallinity, degree of crosslinking, Charpy, etc.)
