Applus+ Laboratories achieves China UnionPay accreditation for terminal-type approval

Applus+ Laboratories is proud to announce that it has recently incorporated China UnionPay into its wide range of type approval services for Payment solutions. Our IT Laboratory in Barcelona (Spain) has successfully passed all audits and is now accredited to test China UnionPay’s Quickpass specification on contactless payment terminals.  

This new recognition builds on our comprehensive accreditation scope, which currently covers most of the global and national payment schemes for Point of Sale (PoS) devices, including both security (PCI-PTS, Common Criteria and SECC) and functional requirements (EMVCo, Visa, American Express or Discover, among others).  

Vendors will be able to work with a one-stop-shop service provider to carry out most of their testing requirements, streamline their certification times, and help meet their time-to-market dates.
